The battle continues

Naughty Boys continue with the challenge for promotion to the Mascom Premier League when they host Wonder Sporting in Tlokweng tomorrow. Naughty Boys is occupying second spot in the MedRescue First Division South League with 31 points behind Mogoditshane Fighters with 37 points.

The Tlokweng side has been doing well since the second round kicked off.  They have won four games in a row and drawn once. They are yet to lose a game in the crucial second round. Their opponents tomorrow, Wonder Sporting are lying fourth with 24 points.

In the fight for supremacy, the competition has become a two-horse race between Naughty Boys and Fighters. Both clubs were relegated from the Premier League last season. Naughty Boys have proved hard to beat at home and Wonder Sporting might feel the heat. Unlike the police-sponsored Wonder Sporting who have little to lose, Naughty Boys would be under pressure because they are still in contention for the title and promotion.  After campaigning in the First Division for a number of years, it appears that Wonder Sporting is struggling to gain promotion to the Premier League. Naughty Boys' officials have made it clear that they are targeting the first position although it is going to be an uphill task to topple Fighters.
