The association's spokesperson, Trevor Modise has said players should verify if coaches are qualified before engaging them.  Modise said it was critical especially for young players to be developed by seasoned coaches.

He observed that some players develop bad habits because they were not taught properly from the development stage.  Although he appreciated that some unqualified coaches could still be good he advised players not to be in the habit of engaging them. He said the danger of youngsters who are not properly developed properly is that they would grow up thinking that wrong things are actually right.
