Matlhatsi is among those selected into the national team

Ten players from both the men’s and women’s sections have made it into the table tennis national team which is preparing for the AUSC Region V Games. Botswana will host the games later this year.

There are still a further 10 slots up for grabs, which could be filled this weekend.

Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) competition secretary, Kudzanani Motswagole said the national team needs two quality teams and they are very careful during the selections. He said besides performance, they also consider the rankings of individuals.
