Tempers flare at Radipotsane hearing

Tempers flared at the Lekidi Centre in Gaborone last Thursday after suspended Tswapong region chairman, Fobby Radipotsane's hearing was postponed.

Radipotsane appeared before the Botswana Football Association (BFA) Disciplinary Committee accused of bringing the association's name into disrepute by making comments in the media. The initial hearing did not come and go without any drama either. Straight after the announcement of the new date for the hearing, there was drama when Radipotsane shunned National Executive Committee (NEC) member, Charles Chilisa, as he tried to greet him.

"Don't shake my hand; you're the reason I'm here and now you want to act like my friend," exclaimed a visibly irate Radipotsane. Apparently, there is tension between the two administrators and Radipotsane believes Chilisa had a hand in his suspension.
