TASC, Tonota in weekend thriller for third place

FRANCISTOWN: Third-placed Tonota FC and TASC, just one place below, clash in what is expected to be the pick of the Debswana First Division North (FDN) league fixtures at the Donga grounds tomorrow TASC, who recently appointed Zimbabwean coach, Elliot Mavhondo have rarely lost at home this season and last week managed a convincing 2-0 home win against struggling Two-Two-Five.

 

Both TASC and Tonota have accumulated 18 points out of 12 outings, but TASC are behind Tonota because of goal difference.A win by TASC will mean that they will ascend to position three in the league with 21 points. Second from the bottom Great North Tigers (GNT) host eighth-placed rookies Sladden Eagles in Tati Siding tomorrow. Both sides are from Francistown but shortage of suitable venues has forced the match to be moved to Tati Siding.
