FRANCISTOWN: A 71st minute goal from unheralded Tshepo Mbulawa secured a valuable 1-0 victory for TASC over Mahalapye Hotspurs in a Debswana First Division North League fixture on Saturday.

The win not only secured TASC a second victory of the season but helped the Francistown side to move into the top four on the log. It is a welcome relief following three draws in four outings prior to the Saturday match. TASC were without a coach following the sacking of Boinyana 'Didi' Galeboe.

The former premiership side started the season with a 2-2 draw against Senete based Two Two Five followed by a 0-0 stalemate against Tonota FC before drawing again against neighbours, Sladden Eagles. The winless streak stopped a fortnight ago when they got a 3-1 win over Amakhosi. In sweltering heat on Saturday afternoon, they fully utilised home advantage at the BDF Donga Grounds to beat visiting Hotspurs 1-0.
