FRANCISTOWN: TASC beat Jungle Queens 51-24 in a netball league grudge match played before a capacity crowd at the Francistown College of Technical and Vocational (FCTVE) courts over the weekend.

The My Spar My Botswana quarterfinals started on Saturday and ended yesterday morning with the last four teams progressing to the semis to be played in a fortnight in Gaborone.

The highlight of the quarterfinals was the game between TASC and Queens.  In the build up to the quarterfinals, the two teams were involved in a wrangle over TASC defensive player, Florah Keeditse.  Ironically, TASC took advantage of Queens' weakness in defence to win over the weekend.
