Tanian faces disciplinary action for no-show

Tanian face disciplinary action after failing to honour the mens volleyball league match against BDF VI on Saturday in Mahalapye.

Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) vice president, George Keotsene said the club has not explained why it did not turn-up for the fixture. The competition's organising committee has written to the club demanding answers.

Keotsene said they expected the club to have responded in seven days. Besides forfeiting points, he would not say what action will be taken against Tanian. He advised clubs to inform organisers if they are unable to honour fixtures so that they can figure out how they can help them. He said failing to honour fixtures causes a lot of inconvenience to other clubs.
