Tamirepi sues TAFIC over unpaid wages

FRANCISTOWN: After being sacked by TAFIC a week ago, Zimbabwean coach Godfrey Tamirepi has taken legal action against his former club for breach of contract.

He feels that the team has contravened his contract and they are planning to cheat him. After being suspended two weeks ago, the coach was served with contract termination letter last Monday.

"You are here informed that TAFIC executive committee has resolved not to renew your contract. An agreement will be made to pay you your salary arrears and your dues as per the contract," reads the letter signed by manager Emmanuel Dube, chairman Thomas Maika and secretary Baboloki Bajiti but does not state the reasons for the decision.
