FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC were left to rue a wasted opportunity of pulling away at the top of the Debswana First Division North table when they were held to a 2-2 draw by cross town rivals GNT in a Francistown derby. Closest rivals BR Highlanders had suffered a rare 2-1 home defeat to Maun Tigers, but TAFIC failed to profit.

TAFIC are a point ahead of Highlanders on 27 after the Saturday draw with GNT in the opening game of the First Division North. Highlanders lost 2-1 to Maun Tigers.

TAFIC mentor, Blessing Moyo was left fuming at his players after the encounter.
