FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC chairman, Bushy Moswa has said there is no need to panic over the delayed plans to privatise the be MOBILE Premier League side. He explained that neogotiations are still going on, three months after talk that the club will go private. "We will tell you in due course what has been decided," he said.

And at the beginning of July this year, with high hopes of privatisation, TAFIC supporters met with the officials at the Francistown Stadium.  The meeting agreed to suspend the election of a new committee and that a special meeting be held to find ways to effect the handover of the club to the new owners. The supporters decried the dwindling fortunes of the club and urged management to speed up the transformation process with the hope that things will change for the better.

They were especially mindful of Moswate's address which spoke of how the previous season was a challenging one as the club performed below par compared to cross-town rivals, ECCO City Greens. Moswate had told the supporters that the be Mobile Premier League was proving to be highly competitive given the lucrative P1 million first prize for the winning side.
