TAFIC coach suspended

FRANCISTOWN: Troubled be MOBILE Premier League side, TAFIC, have suspended their coach, Newman Gaobone, just days before the team meet Mogoditshane Fighters in the Coca Cola Cup game tomorrow.

Mmegi Sport has it on good authority that the decision was taken during a crisis meeting convened at the TAFIC clubhouse. According to sources, Gaobone pressured the management to convene the meeting to notify them of his strained relationship with his two assistant coaches, Mlungisi Kopi and Dominic Changwe (formerly of TASC).

Although both the TAFIC spokesperson, Thomas Chabalala and Gaobone refused to comment on the issue, impeccable sources have revealed that the coach is on suspension.  Chabalala confirmed the meeting, but could not be drawn into discussing the matter at length, arguing that they are still waiting for the club chairperson, Humphrey Nawa, who is currently out of the country.
