TAFIC accuse BDF XI of underhand recruitment tactics

FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC are fuming after Premier League rivals, BDF XI allegedly attempted to use underhand tactics bid to recruit two players, namely goalkeeper Moatlhodi Ndana and Zimbabwean Audience Rundova.

The two were seen in the company of BDF XI in Gaborone last week. TAFIC manager, Mpilo Master Mbulawa, reportedly received a tip-off that the players were in Gaborone to discuss a possible move to BDF XI and is convinced the two were talking to BDF XI behind their back.

"This is what we will not tolerate because it is against the regulations," Mbulawa fumed. "How do they choose to ignore us and opt to talk to the players without our permission? Is this not belittling us?"  He said financially stable clubs had turned TAFIC into an academy for grooming talent for them. "This has become a trend that must stop now before it does the club irreparable damage," Mbulawa said. "We have done a lot to verify the facts because immediately after receiving the tip off, I called Rundova on his mobile phone and I could sense from the background noise that he was in a car," he said.
