The Botswana Swimming Sport Association (BSSA) finds itself in murky waters as divisions emerge over the selection of the national team and its gender composition.

Some parents have withdrawn their children protesting the selection process. There are allegations that nepotism is rife in the selection of the national side.

One parent, Zlatan Imsorivic, blames the woes on the constitution, arguing that the document should be amended.
