Swimming boss warns detractors

The chairperson of Botswana Swimming Sport Association (BSSA) Darrel Morton has warned people who have been spreading negative reports about the sport that stern action will be taken against them.

He said the bad publicity tarnishes the good name of the sport. He urged those who have ideas on how to run the sport to come forward and make proposals.

Morton was reacting to media reports in recent weeks alleging racism in swimming. He was speaking at the national swimming gala held over the weekend in Gaborone.
