Swazis pose threat to Zebras' COSAFA hopes

The Zebras leave today for Bulawayo, Zimbabwe to take part in the COSAFA Castle Senior Challenge Cup amid high expectations of progress to the quarterfinals.

The Zebras have been drawn against lightweights Seychelles, Comoros and Swaziland in Group B where the top team advances to the quarterfinals. It is a relatively favourable group for the Zebras whose main threat should be Swaziland.

The Zebras are the highest ranked team in the group by FIFA, though there are concerns about the effects of the long lay-off without playing competitive football and the recent slump in form. The uninspiring performances might see only a few supporters travelling to Zimbabwe for the games.
