Former Extension Gunners striker Monametsi 'Sunday' Kelebale is enjoying his new position in the heart of NICO United's defence.

Sunday, as he is affectionately known, rejoined Majombolo last season and is presently playing in defence instead of his usual striking role. He has been instrumental in the Selebi-Phikwe side's dream start to the season. They are sitting pretty at second in the league after a convincing 4-0 win over Police XI, a start which has confounded many critics.

Sunday is convinced he has settled in the new position and hopes to help his team maintain the fine form. "I'm really enjoying the position that I'm currently playing. I actually played as a defender when I started my football career so I'm enjoying myself," Sunday told Monitor Sport. He believes his experience as an attacking player gives him an edge over strikers.
