A defiant Police VI continue to enjoy a purple patch as they sit at the top of the men’s Mascom Volleyball League after an unbeaten start which has seen them bag 15 points from five games. Kalavango are second with 13 points after losing once in five matches. Speaking to Mmegi Sport yesterday, Police coach, Shimaka Ngwanaotsile said they prepared well for the 2016 season.

“Our weakness last season was defence and pass. We worked hard on those two areas to perfection. Those two are important to win matches,” he said.

Police VI have beefed up their squad by getting the services of one of the best setters in the country, Tjiyapo Madeluka from Kutlwano.
