Struggling Nico make history

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Although struggling in the be MOBILE Premier League, Nico United found their way into the history books by becoming the first side this season to win a match by a seven goal margin. Pitted against a disjointed Naughty Boys' side, Majombolo were rampant and could have reached double digits.

The win did not improve Nico's 15th position but it certainly lifted morale after an indifferent run this season. Besides the seven goals, the game produced three red cards and Naughty Boys' players swarmed the match officials at the end of the game. Police had to be brought in to calm the situation as the unruly players threatened to assault the officials.

On the pitch, the floodgates were opened as early as the third minute whenMaster Masitara who helped himself to a hat trick, fired in a brilliant shot from outside the box.
