The last time goalkeeper Kalid Niyonzima kicked a ball was in June last year and since unceremoniously parting ways with BDFXI, the Burundian shot stopper is still to get a team.

The giant goal minder, who just a few season ago was regarded as one of the best in the be MOBILE Premier League, says although he would have hoped to have registered with another team by now, he was hopeful of landing a deal soon.

After his departure from the army side there were reports that a number of Premier League sides were after his services, but all the deals fell through, as Niyonzima's demands were deemed too high. Although he was cagey with details regarding teams tailing him, the 28-year-old disclosed that pursuers included new comers, FC Satmos.
"I would just say the offers from those team who wanted to sign me were not good enough. Satmos were one of them, but they had to show me a better offer if I have to move from Gaborone to (Selebi) Phikwe," Niyonzima said. The muscular Burundian denied that his recent trip to Abu Dhabi was in search of a professional contrac,t saying he only went there on some personal matters.
