'Stadium fee hike has nothing to do with Police exit'

The management of Otse Police College said that the reason for the increase in fees for use of the stadium has nothing to do with the way former Premier League side, Police XI has been treated.

Premier League teams seeking to use the stadium will now have to part with P15, 000 up from P2, 000. The recent increase followed a senior management meeting at the College where they discussed matters of cost recovery.

Speaking to Mmegi Sport yesterday, director of training, Senior Assistant Commissioner Maloti Gabosite said a company that takes care of the stadium is charging them a lot of money and they were forced to make significant adjustments in order to be able to maintain the venue on a regular basis.
