Softball welcomes Olympic Games inclusion

BSA public relations officer, Kelebogile Seitei told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the decision to include softball in the Olympic Games means regional competition is going to be stimulated. She said Zone VI “died a slow death” and to date, Botswana only competes with South Africa.
“At the last World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) - softball division congress that was held in Oklahoma, African nations that were there committed to resuscitating regional structures and competition,” she said.
