This week, the Botswana Softball Association (BSA) announced it will hold a virtual meeting on April 28, but some affiliates argue, a physical Annual General Meeting (AGM) is what the sport needs, in order to fully deliberate on a number of burning questions, as the executive committee faces the firing line, observes Staff Writer, CALISTUS KOLANTSHO

It has been a difficult period for the BSA’s National Executive Committee (NEC) led by Thabo Thamane as they have faced many fire fighting episodes during their tenure. The association is preparing for a virtual AGM on April 28.

It appears none of the current NEC members has an interest in retaining their positions. Some affiliates accuse the committee of failing to execute its mandate since being voted in, four years ago.
