Siska Rejoins Chiefs

The transfer period closed on Friday with big-spending Mochudi Centre Chiefs making another major recruitment by luring back Thato Siska from Uniao Flamengo Santos.

The striker cut his teeth at Chiefs in the late 1990s and became a household name before he left five years ago to play for Notwane. At one point he went to ply his trade abroad before coming back last year to join Santos where his killer instincts earned him a place in the national team.

Chiefs' spokesman Clifford Mogomotsi told Monitor Sport that they have reunited with the forceful attacker after his contract with Santos expired. "He showed interest in joining us when his contract with Santos expired and we didn't hesitate to bring him on board. He is our former player and the coach told us he has a role for him," said Mogomotsi.
