Sharps Shooting Stars moved within a touching distance of the Debswana First Division South League title despite their 0-0 draw with Metebejane on Saturday.

Sharps now need just a point in the last two games to gain their first ever promotion to the Premier League.

Their job was even made easier by the fact that Uniao Flamengo Santos who are the closest title rivals lost 3-2 to Notwane on Saturday. Sharps’ match against Matebejane produced a tough battle in the first half, but with relatively low goal scoring chances.
