SELEBI-PHIKWE: Two be MOBILE Premier League sides, Nico United and Satmos, face a fresh challenge because the Selebi-Phikwe Stadium has been closed for maintenance until August 27.

The two teams use the stadium for their home matches. The stadium's supervisor, Margaret Chaba said the work includes replacing the turf in certain parts of the field and erecting a new fence. She said work started late and expressed fear that the pitch might not be ready by the set deadline.

Chaba said the grass was supposed to be planted at the end of the season, but work only started in June. The council is also renovating the entrance used by players and officials.
