Selebi Phikwe celebrates launch of recreational park

A Recreational Park that encompasses tennis, volleyball, netball and basketball facilities was launched in Selebi Phikwe on Saturday.

The facility would serve many grass roots sports skills development programmes which would cater for children from as young as five years.

It has a recreational hall to cater for some entertainment for the youth in the town. This is expected to play a major role in taking the youth away from social ills such as drugs and alcohol abuse. Selebi Phikwe Town Council (SPTC) built the infrastructure to a tune of P1.2 million.
