Seekers wallop Itekeng in Mascom Volleyball League

Itekeng men's volleyball team only had themselves to blame for losing 3-2 to Victory Seekers in the Mascom volleyball league in Lobatse on Saturday.

After putting up a spirited fight, the Jwaneng side's players were left with an egg on their face after failing to maintain their grip. Itekeng's other undoing was complacency as they concentrated much on celebrating after scoring, failing to cover their backs in the process.

It was clear that Itekeng were the weaker opponents at the beginning of the game, but managed to pick up as the game progressed. After losing 28-26 in the first set they came up strongly winning the second set 25-11.
