Following the departure of David Bright and Daniel 'Chico' Nare, Township Rollers are reported to be inundated with applications for its vacant coaching posts.

Rollers parted ways with assistant coach Nare after the defeat by TAFIC last week while 'coaching consultant' Bright has joined South African Premiership side, Cape Town Santos.

Rollers spokesman Billy Loeto told Mmegi Sport yesterday that they have received several applications since the departure of Nare last week. "We have advertised the post in the local papers and the response from interested candidates has been overwhelming.  People are sending in their CVs. The deadline is on Friday and we will be sorting them out to choose the person who meets our requirements," he said. Since the start of the season, Rollers have not impressed. Nare who joined as caretaker coach mid last season seemed to have fallen out with both management and supporters. The loss against TAFIC provided management with a good reason to fire him. Although Loeto did not say whether they are looking for a foreign or local coach, it is understood that Mapalastina have been after former Gaborone United tactician, Luke Masomere of Zambia.
