Township Rollers might be struggling on the field but the club's fame has reportedly reached Scotland. Rollers' spokesperson, Seabelo Modibe has said that a Scottish side is interested in 10 players from his club.

He said the players will be initially in the Scotland club's feeder team from where they will graduate to the senior side. Modibe could neither reveal the name of the club nor the players they will be sending since they are still waiting for their visas to be processed. He stated that they have a letter from the Scotland club requesting to assess Rollers' players. He said that six of the chosen players are from their development side while four are with the first team.

The departure of the players might not go down well with some Rollers' supporters who feel that it is time the club focused on winning silverware this season. But Modibe said they have no option but to release the players. "We have to understand that our football is still amateur and there is no need to stand in the way of players if an opportunity arises," he said.
