Schools rapped for disrupting tennis programme

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Botswana Tennis Association (BTA) resident coach in Selebi-Phikwe, Wellington Sibanda has launched a scathing attack on schools that fail to release their players for tournaments.

Sibanda, who is credited with moulding some of the finest talent in Botswana tennis, is not amused at the way some schools in Phikwe behave when it comes to releasing players for duty.

He did not mince his words when he said some schools were denying promising talent an opportunity to grow.
