School term to affect COSSASA Games

COSSASA Games were launched in Gaborone recently.
The chairperson of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Boitshoko Tsiane has said the games will be adversely affected because they use school facilities to accommodate participants.
Because learners will be in school, the LOC has been forced to look for alternative facilities. But already, Tsiane says some countries have complained about the cost of alternative accommodation that LOC has secured for them.
Instead, it has sparked a storm of accusations, denials, and unresolved questions about the influence of De Beers on the nation’s politics.
