Satmos on the verge of landing Zim striker

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Basement side, FC Satmos is in the process of signing a Zimbabwean striker as part of a wider strategy to turn around the team's fortunes.

The player was spotted training with the struggling be MOBILE Premier League side this week.
Satmos spokesperson, Mpenzeni Sambandawe, said they are still assessing the player but hope to recruit the striker in a bid to halt the goal drought. If they sign the striker, Sambandawe said some players would have to make way. He believes the signing of the players would help solve their scoring problems as the team has been creating chances but failing to finish.

The club director, Mooketsi China Mading, was taking the players through their paces this week, emphasising on scoring.Satmos coach, Duncan Tshegofatso, is in Gaborone attending a FIFA B licence course.The team would be boosted by the return of veteran utility player, Master Masiku who has been out injured.Sambandawe mentioned that his services as a sweeper are needed.
