SELEBI-PHIKWE: First Division North side, Satmos has released three players and issued a stern warning to two others to mend their ways.

The former Premier League side decided to part ways with the players because they were a bad influence on the team. The players are defenders Abraham 'Jabu' Kgetse, Oabetswe 'Linda' Khani and goalkeeper, Tumelo Bolofete. Satmos' spokesman, Mpenzeni Sambandawe confirmed that disciplinary action has been taken against the players. "We are trying to build a team but some players have a negative attitude. We are trying to build a competitive side," he said.

He vowed that the club will crack down on errant behaviour. "This is only the beginning. It shows that we want to have people who are serious about the club. Those who don't want to ride in the boat will be pushed out."
