Flamengo Santos, under the guidance of caretaker coaches, Keitumetse Paul and injured defender Khumo "Shoes" Motlhabane, tasted victory against wasteful Lobtrans Gunners thrashing the fallen giants 2-0 in a well-attended game at Lobatse Stadium.

Gunners were the first to open the scoring seven minutes into the second half through talented winger Ofentse "Schalkwyk" Mmipi. The youngster received a pass on the right, dribbled past a defender before putting the ball past an advancing Thabo Ntsiapane in the Santos' goal.

But their celebrations were short-lived as Kgakgamatso Pharo slotted home eight minutes later, taking advantage of the ball- watching Gunners' defence and Israel Molao's poor organisation and lack of concentration.
