Sankoyo coach remains modest on title challenge

Sankoyo Bush Bucks coach, Gadimang Tiiso does not want to get carried away by his side’s good performance.

Sankoyo lead the Debswana First Division North Log with 33 points after winning 11 matches. They are two points ahead of closest challenger, BR Highlanders. Tiiso told Mmegi Sport that he cannot celebrate yet as anything can happen in the remaining five games. He said any team in the top six can still win the title. Tiiso said they have to win all the remaining games to realise their dream of clinching the title and playing in the Premier League next season.

“When we got promoted to the First Division last season, we did not perform well due to various factors such as lack of experience. We just kept going down the log. This season, we kept the same players that we had and they now know what to do. There is nothing special that we are doing,” Tiiso explained.
