Ross branch wins regional off-road championships

Local rider, Ross Branch on Sunday stamped his authority as he won the Southern African Off-road Motor sport Championships held in Ranaka, beating strong challenger from Zambia's David Reece to 2nd place, while another Botswana rider, Neil Gailey also finished on the podium on third place. Five southern African counries took part in the event.

It was a golden moment for Ross who dominated the race from the start and ended up a comfortable winner adding yet another title to his tally for the year.

Ross has the FIM MX title which he won in Zimbabwe earlier this year before wrapping up the FIM Off Road Challenge, yesterday.
