Rollers win in Mascom Top 8

Inspired by the return of midfield king pin Lawrence Majawa, Township Rollers cruised to a 3-1 victory at the expense of  BDF XI in a Mascom top 8 clash at the UB stadium on Sunday. Popa surged forward 12 minutes into the game  with BDF XI defence unable to close down Mogakolodi Tsotso Ngele whose half volley beat Michael Papukani in BDF XI goal.

Even before the goal it was clear Matebele lacked the firing spirit. Majawa fired from long range in the 23rd minute but found Papukani alert this time. A minute later Patrick Motsepe watched in agony as his header hit the ground before flying out of play after catching the Rollers defence napping
