Rollers seek to put title chase on track

FRANCISTOWN: Township Rollers seek to put back their title ambitions on track when they travel to Francistown to face TAFIC in a be MOBILE Premier League match tomorrow.

Both teams lost by identical 1-0 margins in their previous encounters. Rollers went down to Uniao Flamengo Santos while TAFIC were defeated by BMC in Lobatse. Santos' striker Boitshoko Zikhale solitary strike condemned Rollers to their first defeat of the season in three matches. Rollers had started the season on fire, defeating Extension Gunners 2-0 before routing Jwaneng Comets 3-0. Ironically, TAFIC also suffered their first defeat last weekend, with the other two encounters ending in draws.

Both teams created numerous scoring chances in their last league encounters but ended up losing. "That team (BMC) created very few chances compared to us. They created one or two chances and they scored. We created so many chances, but we ended up the losers," said former Zebras' defender, Lovemore Mokgweetsi who is holding the fort at TAFIC, together with Wrist Mmusi in the absence of coach, Willard Khumalo who is said be on sick leave.
