Great North Tigers made champions Township Rollers sweat for a 1-0 victory in a be MOBILE Premier League match at SSKB on Saturday.

The goal came in the third minute courtesy of a penalty by  winger Sekhana 'Nandos' Koko.  Despite conceding so early in the game, the Francistown side  fought all the way.

Perhaps their major downfall was giving their opponents too much respect. The seemingly unstoppable Koko came charging on the right flank on the 18th minute, easily beating Kabelo Kadisa and Bashin Tsenang before sending a quick ball across the face of goal for Ntesang Simanyana, but GNT's Marshal Gono reacted quickly to clear for a corner.  Gono's composure even when the lethal Koko was lurking seemed to make all the deference as the Gaborone giants pressed hard to increase the lead, but  all in vain.
