Rollers donate to needy family

This is not the first time the Mbakiwa family is benefiting from the generosity of the Rollers. In December, the Francistown supporters donated clothes and food worth P2,000 to the family. Since then, the supporters have spent more than P9,700 on the family. They have bought school uniforms for children in the family and paid school fees for one child in secondary school.
The supporters explained that they were touched by the plight of the family members after their plight was highlighted by Btv last year. The TV station showed nine-year old Mpaphi walking to school in the cold, barefooted without winter clothing.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
