Rollers Bring Down Notwane

Township Rollers put their title dreams back on track when they hammered bitter rivals Notwane 3-1 in an entertaining be MOBILE Premier League match at the UB Stadium on Friday night. Mapalastina have collected 23 points from 11 games and look set to challenge for top honours.

On Friday night, Rollers started strongly and attacked from all angles. The attacking quartet of captain Joel Mogorosi, Terrence Mandaza, Mohammed Chawila and Thebe Maiketso proved problematic to the Notwane rearguard manned by Moreetsi Mosimanyana.

In the ninth minute, Rollers opened the scoring when Mandaza tapped home from close range after an inviting cross from Chawila. Young midfielders Lesego Molemogi and Amos Godirwang were brilliant for Rollers and they were never intimidated by seasoned opponents like Barnes Radipotsane and Stopper Mpoeleng.
