Rivalry ensues as tough First Division starts

FRANCISTOWN: It will be a battle of colours this weekend when the Debswana First Division North launches the 2016/17 season at the Francistown Sports Complex with two fixtures.

Addressing a press conference this week, First Division North chairperson, Sambandawe Mpenzeni said it is exciting that football battles are finally back on the field.

He said in an effort to bridge the gap between the two First Division leagues, the season will be launched in the north and finish in the south.
