A tracksuit retailing company, Ezedumo (Pty) Ltd, is accusing Mascom Premier League title favourites, Mochudi Centre Chiefs of failing to pay for the items they got from the company.

According to company director Lebogang Maboane, she supplied 20 tracksuits worth P350 each, totalling P7 000.

Narrating to Mmegi Sport on Monday, Maboane said that Chiefs' officials called just before the Four-Team Challenge Cup that involved South African teams, Moroka Swallows and Jomo Cosmos. "Clifford (Mogomotsi) asked me to supply the tracksuits as they wanted to surprise and motivate the players ahead of their encounters and the goods were received by Chiefs' assistant manager, Rapula Moetlo on the day of the first games," she said. She also said that Chiefs promised to pay the following day but failed to do so. Realising that they did not fulfil their promise, Maboane said that she called them but nobody answered their phones until she decided to go to their training session the following week. "When I got to their training ground, I met Clifford at the gate but he told me that he was rushing home to watch AFCON games," she added.
