Relegation battle goes to the wire

If BMC do not win their last survival game against BDF XI tomorrow, it will be the second time that the team will be relegated under coach Clever Hunda - and it will do much damage to the Zimbabwean tactician's reputation.

Hunda definitely does not want to be remembered as the coach who saw the Lobatse side twice relegated. Rather, he would wish for soccer followers especially 'Ezinkomo' supporters to see him as a hero who rescued their team from the chop. "It is too personal for me, I would not want to be remembered for all the wrong reasons. We are going all out for a win, it is a cup final without medals and no trophy. The team relegated under me the last time before I returned to Police XI and it will be very sad for me if that happens again which is why I demand total commitment from my players," Hunda said.

The former Extension Gunners' mentor said he is aware that BDF XI, who are sitting in a precarious position with only 36 points, will be tough nuts to crack "but we are going to fight a fierce battle that will leave everyone bruised because I don't want it to happen to me again," he said.
