Refs catch BFA off guard - again

FRANCISTOWN: National referees have once again capitalised on Botswana Football Association (BFA) complacency to hold the National First Division (South) to ransom.

The move came unexpectedly after all teams fixtured had made necessary preparations for weekend games only to be informed two hours before kick-off that referees would not pitch up due to a pay dispute.

When contacted for comment yesterday, First Division's (South) vice chairperson Sam Keitireng was at his wits' end.
