An outstanding performance by shooting guard, Oscar Gobusamang failed to save struggling Police V who went down 76-58 to a determined Cadets in a thrilling Botswana Basketball League match at SSKB on Saturday afternoon.

The defeat added more woes to Police V, who have had a bad run this season. With Police missing some of their key players, Cadets went on the offensive immediately with a solid performance that saw them take the lead at the end of the first quarter. They enjoyed lots of possession in the second quarter and could have bagged more baskets had they been more accurate.

Cadets’ point guard, Kenneth Jimbo initiated most of their attacks from the back and capped a great second quarter with a three pointer.
