Reds wary of Matebele

Gaborone United (GU) confront BDF XI in a be MOBILE Premier League game at the Galaxy Stadium in Jwaneng tomorrow in what has been billed as the match of the weekend.

Both sides have been doing well in the league with GU occupying pole position and Matebele in fourth place. GU must be worried ahead of the game as BDF XI have proven to be the most difficult opponents this season. BDF XI is the only side which has beaten the Reds in the 25 league games. To add salt to injury, Matebele eliminated GU from the Coca-Cola Cup. The Reds must win the game to maintain top spot because defending champions, Mochudi Centre Chiefs is breathing down their necks. GU sits at the summit with 62 points, three ahead of Chiefs.

In their last game against BMC, GU showed signs of potential champions when they snatched a last-minute winner. After struggling for almost 85 minutes against BMC, substitute Ronald Chikomo got maximum points for the Reds with a late goal.
