RAMOTSWA: Letlapeng failed to extend their lead at the top of the Debswana First Division South log after settling for a goalless draw against Killer Giants in a thrilling match before a packed Siga Ground over the weekend

The Ramotswa derby failed to produce goals despite the many chances created by both sides.

Letlapeng had a chance to break the stalemate in the 27th minute through the foot of Thabang Dira, but goalkeeper Koolopile Boitshwarelo volleyed the effort away. Killer Giants were more threatening going forward, but poor finishing was their undoing. They caught Letlapeng on the counter, but Onalenna Kgosiyang's shot hit the woodwork in the 31st minute. Bakang Masisi was proving to be a menace down the left and made a driving run through Letlapeng defence in the 39th minute before unleashing a shot but goalkeeper Kakanyetso Dipholo was up to the task.
