Radipotsane's hearing today

Suspended Botswana Football Association (BFA) Tswapong regional chairman, Fobby Radipotsane's hearing has been penciled for this evening.

The vocal football administrator was suspended on March 8 over comments he made in the press. He had told this paper that regions were plotting a revolt against the association because they feel the BFA is failing to address pressing issues. The association then called a special meeting where they decided to suspend him indefinitely from all football activities.

The revolt by the regions was aimed at forcing a change in the BFA leadership. "What we want to do is to revolt against the BFA because we feel we are being treated unfairly. We will hold a special meeting where we will map the way forward because we cannot take this anymore," he said then. BFA chief executive officer Judge Mookodi confirmed the development. "We are still finalising everything. We just need to confirm the arrangements," Mookodi said.
